It is wet, it is miserable. Although dry I too am mildly miserable. This calls for a little bit of emergency sunshine from the archive. And a bee. I’m feeling better already.

Isn’t it just, and what a change in 48 hrs. A real western Europe November day; cold and damp – I’ve even been out chopping firewood. If that is some Everlasting sunshine (as in Helichrysum), then it’s a boost for us all in this neck of the woods.

I know just what you mean, everything around here is damp and soggy and I know that the end of summer has definitely arrived. I will send you some of my ‘cheer up’ pictures, they help me when things get too dreary.

I used to grow these in all different colours and they would delight me all through the winter. I’ d forgotten all about them . Something else on the list for next year.
I hope you have the lovely sunny day to cheer you up, like we have had today.

Very showery today, sometimes torrential and windy! The odd gap to make it worthwhile though.

I can see how a bee might make you feel better. 🙂

They do it every time, hopefully they are mostly tucked up somewhere warm now.

Cold and crisp is so much more inviting isn’t it! Mind you we don’t often get that here.

A cheerful photo for sure on a wet and blustery day. (You, not me. We had a mild drip and drizzle the other day.)

I am always aware when I moan about the rain that there are many whose greatest wish is for a downpour, you are foremost in my mind.
