Viburnum x burkwoodii

IMG_0435 (2)All day I have been trying to sit down and write this blog.  Now it is late (for me) and I have to work tomorrow early (for me) so I will precis what was intended.  Devon Subtropical, nonstop chat, creamy hedychiums, crazy cats, budding Hildebrand, passionate flowers, exuberant gunnera, flowering brugmansia, premature canna, strangled bananas, guerrilla openings, electric blue geckos, all rounded off with some fragrant Viburnum x burkwoodii.  You may well be relieved you only got the condensed version.

      1. Almost, the containerized plants are fast going now (less soil warms up easy) but the ground is still frozen on shady areas. Still, the Helleborus is showing the flower buds 🙂

    1. Well apparently there is a gecko that is electric blue, I just googled it. This reference is to a colocasia that must have been named after the lizard, or perhaps it was the other way around, that is less likely though! 🙂
