Christmas preambles leave little time for reflection. The elegant Fuchsia glazioviana is flowering very prettily in my garden at the moment. So I will leave it to this dancing lady to entertain you with her pink and purple gown, pirouetting in the winter winds.
I think that variety has given many little girls happiness imagining dancing ladies.
BTW, we are still in same old home—we became too cowardly to pull up stakes after over 40 years! Much more relaxing.

And mine seem quite happy here, too, thank you. They look as if they will go on flowering for some time to come – lovely.

Frost permitting ……. or is that wishful thinking? 🙂

The choice is frost or more rain? I have one of my fuchsias in the greenhouse, just in case, the other seems quite happy out in the wet.

Hobson’s choice really isn’t it. My preference would be sun at just above freezing night time and about 5C daytime. If you could order it for me I would be very happy.

Very graceful! I used to call them leg dancers as a child – I think they may have been the first plants to ignite my interest in flowers, so I have a lot to be grateful for.

We used to push matchsticks through the body and arrange them in saucers. Don’t think they lasted very long after that mistreatment!
