The rain held off until I was home safe and sound. Then it was proper rain; butt filling, ground softening, plant nourishing rain. Thank goodness for that.
Ah, proper rain: no watering required after that kind of rain. We are just getting dribs and drabs here. We have watering restrictions: use of sprinklers two days a week only, three hours in the early morning and three hours in the evening. Hand watering is allowed at any time. Usually, it rains on my allotted sprinkling days.
