The rain is ricocheting off the velux, the wind practising for mayhem. Here we go again.
Earlier in the week a Japanese anemone bud held tight in the mizzle. Let us hope we all manage to hang on.

I bet you have had some good waves up there, the only gardening I have done this weekend is in the potting shed and greenhouse with a good soaking as I dashed between the two. And my ‘Six on Saturday’ photos were all taken on Friday! Well, I had just collected my camera from its repair and needed to try it out.

Yes it has been wicked, last night was very noisy as the wind moved around to the WNW (apparently) so the rain was hammering against the bedroom windows. Might need a nap later …..
