Christmas disco – who doesn’t?
Champagne and salmon – every time
Thoughtful gifts – so lucky
Skype with family – worth waiting for
More indulgence – why not?
Pub with neighbours – fun and laughter
Baubles full of gin – afraid so
Twiglets – it’s the law
Breakfast with friends – perfect
Walk in the woods – naturally
Ready for the new year – definitely!
What on Earth are those things? They look like mushrooms.

You mean they are just tiny mushrooms on top of a lodgepole stake?!

Not tiny! Each about 1cm across. π

I may not know what a ‘cm’ is, but I would guess that it is tiny.

Think I only managed three of those π but there have been other pleasures and plenty of ‘more indulgence’. Glad you’ve had such a productive festive season so far.

Twiglets!! I haven’t had any twiglets!! But, the walk in the woods was through 4″ of crisp snow on the North York Moors and was just wonderful. Now back in wild and wet Devon, Happy New Year, x.
