Tree climbing is the most important.
What is that magnolia? Is it a star magnolia?

No it is an unnamed but very beautiful dark pink one. Really looking forward to them flowering. How do magnolias do with you?

I used to grow them, but except for the star magnolias, I do not like them much. We just happened to be the only nursery that would bother with them. We grew so many varieties, but only a few were popular. Some had huge flowers that made squishy messes. We grew only three star magnolias, and one had big flowers that looked almost like a saucer magnolia. When they finished, they hung up in the trees and turned brown. The pink star magnolia was the second most common. The white star magnolia was my favorite, but least popular. It did not do well here anyway. None of them are all that great. They get scale, and never seem to be very happy.

Lovely. Disorder is nice. Please wear your waterproofs all weekend (and carry an umbrella). We live in hope. 🙂

Will do. Out in Cardiff this evening, I am sure the waterproof trousers will be a great hit. 😆
