Yesterday I spent a fair proportion of the morning traipsing about the farm watering all and sundry. As I sat down to eat my lunch the heavens opened and a heavy and prolonged rain shower ensued. This was not forecast, it was quite shocking. I think it may have been my fault.
And I bet you washed your car earlier that day, too. 😉

We we’re on our allotment, harvesting our first asparagus of the season. Unfortunately the rain stopped before it had even started. So get out there and do another dance please or maybe a cartwheel or two. We need a drop of the wet stuff!

It didn’t really go very far did it! No rain forecast for the next few days 😦 I will get dancing. Your asparagus sounds lovely!

There are almost drought conditions here in East Kent. Even my South African lovelies are looking sorry for themselves. Have been watering like mad, but drizzle predicted for the morning.

Drizzle is almost worse than rain don’t you think. Doesn’t seem to do much good, although I am sure the experts will tell you different. I am off to water my own garden now …..

The forecast was about as wrong as it could be Gill. We have had clear skies all day ….. which is about as long as I have been watering. The tulips drink such a lot when planted in pots.
