Seed collecting day today. In some cases the bus had left already. Luckily Cosmos ‘Purity’ is still going strong. There will be plenty more chances to catch the tiny bombs of potential.

Beautiful back-lighting on those beautiful Cosmos. It was a lovely day to be doing anything outside in the garden, hopefully we will get many more.

I’m not collecting any seed this year. Am worried about lack of space to plant the consequences of seeds I have bought from a certain Cornwallian emporium. Though they include C.Purity which lifts the soul whatever you’re up against. Bootiful plant and bootiful photo too in that light. And “Hi Gill’s Mum.” I’m a creep.

Cosmos ‘Purity’ has to be one of the best annuals in the world. I keep examining the leonotis for you, none yet, but I haven’t given up hope. ps My mum loves a creep. x

I’m trying to have a Cosmos planted somewhere every year; sometimes the only annual species in my garden 😉
