We can’t let ours free range because there are visiting predators, but they have a covered run and are outside year round. They seem happy and they leave fresh eggs which is the goal anyway. π Years back we had two miniature horses and one would follow me around like a big dog. I loved it. π
Most places here you would be followed by ‘hissing’ mosquitoes, so I say, take the chicken π

She is fearless and ignorant of what “shoo” means. Apart from that Gertie (as I have decided to call her) is of a very good disposition.
