The winter solstice must be acknowledged. So we will celebrate with a flower that is actually supposed to be blooming at this time of year*. A cyclamen. Wonderful. Nearly Spring!

I have two red ones blooming on my kitchen window sill – lovely. I also like your way of thinking about spring. 🎄

My tibouchina wouldn’t qualify then? Must buy a cyclamen 😉

If it’s any consolation the tibouchina is looking pretty weary, like Yours Truly!

We’re beginning to think a lot about spring! Some alstromeria blooming, but no cyclamen yet.

My primulas have been in flower since the end of October – I deadheaded some of them yesterday. Now the shortest day is just about over, here’s looking forward to spring. Happy Christmas and all the best for good gardening in 2016.

I found this year mini-Cyclamens, most cute to have in the house. Wonderful foliage too.
(you should know that few Cyclamens are not following the Horti rule :0)
