I wonder if that one will do as well here as the A. nobilis subs. neilreichii I bought at Marwood Hill in 2016 at the All Horts outing. I have masses of it now and it does not seem to object to the winter cold and wet, or the dry and sizzling summer weather. I just love that terracotta and pink combination so beautifully photographed.
Ha! We just planted some into a landscaped area! We had ‘Red Velvet’ and ‘Moonshine’ too! I really liked ‘Moonshine’ in my own garden years ago, but we wanted more color for this landscape because it is a public space.

That is funny, across the globe exactly the same things are going on. It really is a small world. There are some lovely cultivars.
