She said today that the tulips were exactly the colour she had wanted. I explained that it is not always the case, as colours are tricky to capture accurately in photos. Glad she is happy of course. 🙂

You are supposed to give us a chance to guess before revealing the answer, you know. If only so I could smugly say I was reading on my phone and guessed right before I could see para 3.
I hope you will attend on her with suitable audio recording equipment before you relocate so that you have access to a permanent record of your vocal exploits. And, of course, of your friendship. Which is priceless.
