Are you somewhere exotic? They are beautiful creatures, we had them scurrying around the walls and across the ceiling when I lived abroad as a child, no TV, just gecko watching (and cockroaches, but less said about them the better).
I’ve always wondered what the “official” accent of the GEICO gecko is meant to be! There was one commercial a couple of years back wherein someone asks him where he’s from and of course it was deliberately cut short just after he says “Well, actually I’m from…” !!!

The Aussie gecko on the Geico ads is my favorite. Love the accent. Does Maisie have an accent?

Apparently she is called Maisie because she is the colour of maize, very clever!
