Well done, did you spot the beautiful fuchsia in posts next to the swing at the bottom of the ramp? Very dark flowers and foliage, loved it but couldn’t see a label 😦
We went on Thursday and loved the colours that they’ve used in the hot garden this year, although we were disappointed by the lack of butterflies.
I always have to explain my jokes as well!!
I admired that too! And I kept searching and searching and eventually found a plant in the long terrace border, I am pretty sure it is the same, will email my photo, Fuchsia hatschbachii. Now, next step, where can I get one of those?
Yes, it is funny! My sister and I were admiring Shoo-Fly at Rosemoor a week last Sunday – when it was NOT raining!

This is from Rosemoor! We went on Saturday with some of my family who were visiting. Lovely, especially the hot garden!

And we walked around in the rain this afternoon, Rosemoor looking good even in miserable conditions and the leaves are starting to turn….

Didn’t see many butterflies either, which is a little odd!

Nice violet markings; why is it called shoo fly?

Trust you to ask the awkward questions! Just looked it up and apparently it may have some insecticidal attributes 🙂
