These totem poles of blue and grey sum up my day. Murky start, then the eager sun broke through revealing blue skies. I love a flower parody.
ps For the curious, these are ajuga flowers.

I love Ajugas, I have ‘Catlin’s Giant’, bought in a small pot from the lovely Malcolm and Carol at Eastgrove Cottage Garden (now sadly closed as it was a real delight to visit) in 1998. I now have loads of this dark leaved form and it is in full flower at the moment.

This is the variegated pink, white and green, not sure what it is called. Your Giant sounds magnificent!

Nice variegated Ajuga! The red leaf form is most common here.

This is a lovely one, good very low ground cover and these wonderful blooms.

Lovely picture. They do well in soggy ground here.

I once planted ajuga, but they didn’t perform as well as yours.
