I planted out some spray chrysanthemums today. They cost me 80p each, so if they do nothing it’s not too much of a loss, and if they do something I’ll be delighted. I just love the smell of them.
There is very little selection available–just the daisy-like ones that appear in supermarkets in the fall. I keep wondering where to find the lovely curved petalled chrysanthemums portrayed in old wood block prints. Your golden ones are very pretty.

Lovely. I prefer them to dahlias but sadly they seem to be very out of fashion nowadays. xx

This colour really appeals to me, we can get various ones here, you can try from seed perhaps.
