  1. Live and thrive by the look of it, some friends nearby in North Devon have lost theirs, probably as a result of that Beast from the East.

  2. I am working with gunnera for the first time this year. We tried growing it at the farm years ago, but it died twice. Well, it is not as if the same plant died twice. It was planted once, and then died, supposedly from frost. A second was planted the following year, but also died, again, supposedly from frost. I doubt it got cold enough to kill them.
