The coin has flipped from heads to tails. We have begun, yet again, to say “the rain is good for the garden”. Let me translate for you. From my point of view, anyway. At this exact moment in time. Don’t expect the same response later. “All the watering is worth a little sunshine on my back.”
Flipped

I’d happily work in the rain now just to be able to stop watering !

I am sure I would get to that point too, just not quite yet!

Just strap a bar of soap to your head. Dig and shower at the same time. Perfect time saver.

I’d give anything to see raindrops like those in my garden!

How much rain do you get a year Jane? I think here we have about 150cm, but it feels like a lot more!

Our average is about 70 cm, but we’re a long way short of that this year. Nearly half way through the year and we’ve had about 17 cm.🙁

Blimey, that is very poor!

We’re not expecting to see rain here for quite awhile. On the other hand, it’s snowing in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Now! In May! I’d rather be watering than shoveling :(.

The best arrangement is what we had on Thursday , a good soak overnight and sunshine during the day. I’m putting in an order for that on a regular basis.

While you are at it, could you order the same for me please, we might get a good deal!

Sorry, heathens like me have no influence. Today has been gorgeous again after early morning rain. I can’t take any credit for it though.

Hey! We got a tiny bit of late rain too! It was rad! . . . but it was also sort of wet. Ick. Is rain always like that? Someone should invent rain that is not so wet. Anyway, it was cool while it lasted. Unless we get an odd shower in the middle of summer like we sometimes do, we probably will not get rain until autumn.

I think you need some serious rain education Tony, and I am definitely an expert!
