Flipped

Acer palmatum

The coin has flipped from heads to tails. We have begun, yet again, to say “the rain is good for the garden”.  Let me translate for you.  From my point of view, anyway.  At this exact moment in time. Don’t expect the same response later.  “All the watering is worth a little sunshine on my back.”

      1. Our average is about 70 cm, but we’re a long way short of that this year. Nearly half way through the year and we’ve had about 17 cm.🙁

  1. We’re not expecting to see rain here for quite awhile. On the other hand, it’s snowing in St. John’s, Newfoundland. Now! In May! I’d rather be watering than shoveling :(.

  2. Hey! We got a tiny bit of late rain too! It was rad! . . . but it was also sort of wet. Ick. Is rain always like that? Someone should invent rain that is not so wet. Anyway, it was cool while it lasted. Unless we get an odd shower in the middle of summer like we sometimes do, we probably will not get rain until autumn.
